Stronsay, a place to unwind and have some fun
The Storehouse bed and breakfast and the Smiddy self catering cottage are located within the village of Whitehall, just a few minutes walk from the ferry pier. Just opposite the Storehouse is the fishing pier, where the fishermen tie up their boats, so you can't miss our place.Whitehall is home to the island Hotel and pub.It also has a shop/post office where you can buy groceries, ice creams and various other items, there is also a  cafe, known as the fishmart.
Further up the island we have another general store, petrol and diesel can be bought from there along with local produce and general groceries etc

There are miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches to explore. Borrow a bike from the village store at no cost, adults and children's bikes both available. Take a picnic to enjoy while you explore the island. Delicious and freshly made to order picnic lunches can be bought from the Storehouse bed and breakfast.
There is  a small play park in the village and a recently upgraded one right next to the school and swimming pool, which is not too far to cycle or walk  to.
